From all his legal woes to personal controversies, Kodak Black has had a lot to over come in his life, thus providing a shit ton of content for him to write about. Since getting released from jail back in June, the Florida sensation has been releasing music at a ridiculous pace. He kicked things off by dropping off songs like “First Day Out,” “Water,” & “Just A Wrap,” before linking up with Future for the track “Boost My Ego” in July. Then he came through in August and not only dropped off a couple more loose singles & videos, but he also surprised fans with the release of his Project Baby 2 mixtape as well, which featured XXXTENTACION, Offset, & more.
Having never left his foot off the pedal since then, Kodak has continued to flood streets with new music over the past couple months, even teaming up with Plies for joint project on Halloween called F.E.M.A. (Finesse. Elevate. Motivate. Achieve.), and yet he’s still not slowing down either. Earlier this week, Kodak revealed that he had a deluxe version of Project Baby 2 dropping on Black Friday called Project Baby 2: All Grown Up, and alas here it is.
Laced with 27 tracks in total, 8 of which are brand new, the deluxe edition acts as a continuation of Project Baby 2 featuring guest appearances from Birdman & Lil Wayne, the latter of which appears on the highly anticipated intro track "Codeine Dreaming."
For those keeping count, Project Baby 2: All Grown Up serves as the fourth project from Kodak Black in 2017 alone, following up Painting Pictures, Project Baby 2, & F.E.M.A. with Plies.
Available now on iTunes, fans can stream the project in its entirety via Apple Music. Hit play and let us know what you think! What's your favorite record?
