The CEO of Kendrick Lamar's record label, Top Dawg Entertainment, is planning to give back to some very deserving children. Anthony "Top Dawg" Tiffith is set to take kids from three Watts-area housing projects and bring them to see the anticipated Marvel film, Black Panther.
TMZ reports that Anthony teamed up with Interscope records to buy out five shows in three different theatres in the Los Angeles area. Youth from Nickerson Gardens, Jordan Downs, and Imperial Courts Projects (almost 1,000 kids) will be heading to the theatres on busses donated by the L.A. Unified School District on February 17th. All the kids have to do is visit their housing office and sign themselves up.
Speaking of TDE, Kendrick and his label mates ScHoolboy Q, Ab-Soul, Jay Rock, SZA, SiR, and Lance Skiiwalker will be hitting the road for an official TDE Championship Tour. The homies are set to kick things off in Vancouver on May 4th hitting up major cities such as Seattle, Los Angles, Dallas, Portland, Tampa, Atlanta, New York, Toronto and lots more - check out the dates here.
Also, the Kendrick produced Black Panter album will be getting the vinyl and cassette treatment for anyone looking to have a physical version of the stacked tape.
