Lil Wayne has brought happiness to children in his native city of New Orleans this holiday season. On Tuesday, the rapper shared news of his contribution to the Zulu Social Aid and Pleasure Club and Toys For Tots, who presented children with bikes and other toys at a recent event.

“New Orleans has shaped me and is the reason for my success. I always try to find ways to give back to my city,” said in a statement shared through a video on Twitter. “It’s an honor to be supporting the legendary Zulu Club who’s been showing patronage to our city long before I was born. I’m happy I can put a smile on the face of a kid in need for the holiday season!”

The video shows children happily accepting their bikes and wishing a Merry Christmas to Weezy. One heart-warming moment from the clip comes when a kid reveals that Wayne is his favorite rapper. Watch it below.

This isn't the only holiday gift Wayne has planned. Earlier this month, Wayne revealed that he would be sharing his new mixtape Dedication 6 on Christmas day. The project will be the first instalment in the series since 2013's Dedication 5. Just last week, Drake hinted that he might be appearing on the upcoming tape
