Whether you’ve realized it or not, Lil Durk has been feeding the streets with plenty of new heat over the past year. In fact, dating back to last October, the Chicago rapper has released four projects in total, including They Forgot, Love Songs For The Streets, Supa Vultures with Fredo Santana, and most recently Signed To The Streets 2.5, which dropped last Friday, but that’s not all he's got in stored for us. Before Durk hits us with the third installment in his Signed To The Streets mixtape, the Chicago rapper is teaming up with Detroit spitter Tee Grizzley for a new joint mixtape as the two announced a couple weeks ago.
“Y'all gone love when me and @lildurk drop our project,” Tee Grizzley tweeted out earlier this month, and now we know when that’ll be arriving. Hours after Lil Durk’s ”No Fear” video surfaced online, the OTF rapper hopped on Instagram and informed fans that the joint project with Grizzly will be dropping this Thanksgiving! However, we still don’t have a title for the mixtape, but that's where you guys can come in & can help.
“Help us get a name for our tape we dropping thanks giving @tee_grizzley,” Durk captioned his post Wednesday night as the two looked at Grizzly’s phone.
We first caught wind of a possible collab from these two street rappers way back in early August when the two were spotted cooking up in the studio. “My first time coming to Atlanta my brother said fuck a hotel we got a crib out here! We gone bring these monster cities and get something good out of it,” Tee Grizzley said about linking up with Durk before then previewing an upcoming collab from the two. “Let me tell you about Chicago & Detroit, let me tell you about Chicago & Detroit” Durk croons on the hook, before Tee Grizzley can be heard rapping about being on the corner block for real. “I’ve been on the block for real. I really see them drills. Y’all bitch will fight for real” he spits (see preview here).
