After Ice-T's first documentary, "Something From Nothing: The Art Of Rap," was released last year, the rapper got right back at filming with another documentary which also deals with a urban subject matter: Iceberg Slim.
The documentary, "Iceberg Slim: Portrait Of A Pimp," looks at the life of Iceberg Slim, who was a pimp and an author of urban fiction. The movie is directed by Ice's manager and business partner, Jorge Hinojosa, who also produced "Something From Nothing: The Art Of Rap."
The veteran rapper's latest documentary, "Iceberg Slim: Portrait Of A Pimp," will be screened this weekend in Ice-T's home state, New Jersey. On Saturday, May 4th the film will premiere at the Montclair Film Festival. The following night Ice-T will return for a Q&A at the Montclair Art Museum.
