Dunkin' Donuts is introducing new items to their menu at select stores in the Boston area. The popular fast food breakfast chain is testing out the items, which will undoubtedly spread to other stores across the nation. The most popular new item are the donut fries. For just $2, residents in Boston can snatch up the deliciously sweet looking treats.
According to NBC Boston, waffle breaded chicken strips, pretzel bites, ham and cheese roll-ups, a gluten-free fudge brownie, munchkin dippers, and warm cookies are also new $2 items that are being tested by Dunkin' Donuts. If you're in the greater Boston area, head over to 265 Franklin St. in Boston's Financial District, 588 Washington St. in Quincy, or the Logan Airport store to try out the new menu items.
"The test is designed to gather valuable feedback from consumers, franchisees and their employees to help inform future decisions about a possible national rollout," said Dunkin' in a statement to NBC.
The good news comes in the wake of Taco Bell announcing that they will no longer be selling nacho fries. Munchie lovers will be trading salty creamy queso for sweet and sticky donut fries, and hopefully, residents in Boston will spend so much money on the new snacks that they get introduced across the country.
