Desiigner is a man that keeps a positive and open mind with most scenarios. He keeps a smile on his face and is always willing to learn about things he may not understand in it's entirety. The rapper recently crossed paths with underground emcee Kosha Dillz in NYC. After linking up, Dillz gave Desiigner a brief run through of the origins of Hanukkah.

Desiigner may not know too much about Hanukkah other than the fact that people receive presents so Kosha Dillz wanted to give the "Panda" rapper a better understanding of the holiday's history.

"So you know the story about Hanukkah is about the Maccabees. So they had oil for one night and it lasted eight nights," he explained, "So the whole vibe is that, you know, there was enough fight in people to beat and re-takeover the temple. So a couple gems. But you know, regardless of that, you do get the presents."

Desiigner was pretty ecstatic about learning about it and then went on to give a shout out to the Jewish community and those celebrating the holiday before Dillz spat a freestyle for him in Hebrew in honor of Hanukkah and his Jewish background.

In other Desiigner related news, the rapper has been gearing up to drop his debut album sometime in the new year. In addition to that, he and PnB Rock also announced an upcoming joint project together.
