If Charles Barkley is going to talk about wanting to see someone punch Draymond Green in the face, then Draymond says he better do it himself.
During halftime of last night's Game 2 between the New Orleans Pelicans and Golden State Warriors, Barkley watched a clip of Draymond jawing with Pelicans guard Rajon Rondo and told his co-hosts, "I just want to see somebody punch him in the face."
After the game, Draymond responded to Barkley's comments, telling reporters, "If you feel that strongly about it then punch me in my face when you see me."
"He's seen me a million times. If you feel that strongly about it then punch me in my face when you see me. If you're not going to punch me in my face when you see me then shut up. It's no different than somebody sitting behind a computer screen tweeting 'I'll knock you out' and you never see them in real life. Well he's seen me a bunch of times and he'll see me again this year. Punch me in the face when you see me or if not ... No one cares what you would've done. [You're] old and that is what it is so ... If you ain't going to punch me when you see me then stop talking about it."
Draymond, who finished with 20 points, 12 assists and nine rebounds, also got tangled up with Anthony Davis during Golden State's 121-116 victory. Both players were called for fouls on the play, shown below.
