Tyga sat with DJ Akademiks, Star and Nadeska Alexis on Wednesday to discuss his issues with Birdman, Kylie Jenner, Drake and Nicki Minaj.
The Compton-born rapper normally keeps his composure in interview and concedes he simply can't afford to waste the energy trying to change his public perception. When he has to defend himself against scrutiny and headlines, he finds respite in his own calm demeanor or by keeping a tight circle. As for Nicki and Drake, their feud seems to be tied up in "business gone bad".
Tyga touches on his personal growth and mentions he is finally making the music he was meant to create now that he has been freed from his Cash Money contract. Instead of lambasting Birdman or talking about money owed he simply states that "He didn't want to sit up under nobody and wait."
This appearance on "Everyday Struggle" marks the beginning of the promotional tour for his new album Kyoto. The inspiration for this album comes out of exposure to different languages and culture. Tyga's significant relay into real world phenomena is pushing him musically and it goes without saying that breakups inspire incredible works of art. The jury will be out come Feb 16.
