Beach House 3's "Dawsin's Breek" was a reminder of the powerful songwriting team that is Ty Dolla $ign and Jeremih. As it turns out, it's just one of many collaborations the two have ready for release. Hitmaka, a producer close to both artists, revealed that the singers' joint album, MihTy, is now complete, and it's comprised of "21 songs of greatness." No release date was provided, but given the announcement, it seems the project could be headed our way soon.
Ty retweeted Hitmaka's tweet, as well as sharing a preview of one track on Snapchat.
Hitmaka has supplied updates throughout the process, and seems to be extensively involved in the making of the album. According to a tweet from November, there may or may not be solo songs included in the collection on top of the collaborations. He also referred to the album as "some of [his] best work ever."
This is not the only joint project Jeremih has been a part of recently. Last week, it was announced that he and Chance The Rapper would release a full-length version of 2016's holiday EP, Merry Christmas Lil Mama. It's set to hit streaming services this week.
Ty Dolla $ign and Jeremih previously collaborated on "Impatient" from Mih's underrated Late Nights: The Album. Earlier this year, they both appeared on Sevyn Streeter's "Anything U Want" from Girl Disrupted.
