The first court hearing where Tyrese Gibson is accused of physically abusing his 10-year-old daughter, Shayla, took place yesterday and the Fast & The Furious actor walked into the courtroom wearing all white with his wife, Samantha, right by his side.

According to The Blast, when asked about his outfit of choice he responded, “I’m not wearing black today because it’s not a funeral.”

The publication reports that Tyrese's ex-wife, Norma Gibson, took the stand detailing the history of abuse she included in her declaration last month. Norma stated that Tyrese beat a past girlfriend to the point of her being hospitalized in 2002, and also detailed alleged incidents where Tyrese was abusive her.

The Blast also states that the banner which flew over Shayla's school on Monday was brought up by the judge, but quickly dismissed. However, when we posted the story yesterday, Tyrese had denied the allegations. Today, he posted a number of photos of him and Shayla admitting that he did, in fact, send the banner over her school.

"I wanted the banner to be longer but it’s was too expensive this is what I really wanted it to say," he captioned the pictures. "“In the end however way it looks, however way this all feels stay strong my little angel i taught you that this is all just a process of pain seeking happiness, whatever the outcome just know the courts and NO one will ever paint OUR picture NO MATTER WHAT DADDY STILL LOVES YOU SHAYLA”...."

In another lengthy share to Instagram, Tyrese shared a photo of him, his daughter's nanny and his current wife Samantha. Detailing how his 'Gibson Princesses" are always the number one priority in his life, he added, "My one and only Nanny Elva, since Shayla was a year 1/2 and my wife Samantha Gibson my strongest and greatest support ou are my heart and soul."
