Lupe Fiasco has fan eagerly awaiting the arrival of his next album, DROGAS Wave. He promised fans that it would be dropping in 2017 before announcing that he's breaking his promise. Nonetheless, fans are confident he'll deliver his next project, especially after Lupe admitted to taking an intentional L with, DROGAS Light. However, he hasn't kept fans starving for new music. Over the past few months, he's shared new music through Twitter posts as opposed to dropping singles on Soundcloud or other streaming platforms. Today, he returns with another Twitter joint titled, "I Got A New Mic!"
Lupe Fiasco comes through with his latest track, "I Got A New Mic!" The rapper's latest effort is a little freeverse over Nas classic DJ Premier produced single, "Nas Is Like." The song's title should be taken literally. At the beginning of the track, he reveals that he just purchased a new microphone and his new track is him testing it out. Nonetheless, it's another fire record from Lupe Fiasco, even if it is short.
Hopefully, we'll be getting a new album from Lupe sometime this year. He's been working on a new docu-series which follows him on his quest through China as he masters martial arts.
