Taylor Bennett embraces Pride Month with the release of his new single "Be Yourself."

We all should feel comfortable in our own skin and Taylor Bennett is here to encourage anybody having trouble accepting themselves that they are a goldmine deep down. Teaming up with Bianca Shaw, Chicago rapper Taylor Bennett is promoting individuality on his newest single "Be Yourself." Coming out as bisexual last year, Taylor is making it a mission to become comfortable in his own skin, rapping about his experiences in the LGBTQ+ community and how he has grown to accept himself.

Continuing to work without stop, the Chicagoan refers to his drive as the Bennett curse, referencing his brother Chance The Rapper's similar strive for greatness. Although his claim to fame may have been through his brother's success at first, Taylor has stepped out of Chance's shadow to be embraced as his own entity, dropping off plenty of singles that set him apart from anybody in the game. As he prepares his upcoming project Be Yourself, today's drop acts as a teaser for what we can expect in the future.

Quotable Lyrics:

Why these teachers laugh at me when I say I'ma be the mayor
When I say I'm serious, why they smiles don't disappear
'Cause I ride that CTA, 4.0 ain't my GPA
My momma was so proud of me, Lisa Bennett not Lisa Ray
She was scratching lottery tickets, when we gon' see the place
And on top of that got my first suspension like yesterday
