Jags fans can breath a sigh of relief.

Jacksonville Jaguars fans got a scare this morning when they heard that their star running back Leonard Fournette was involved in a car crash. Fortunately, the Jags have announced that it was a minor accident and that Fournette was not injured.

According to the team, Fournette's car was rear-ended in the three-car collision but he was able to drive home. The team did not provide any further details.

"Leonard is OK and was able to drive home," the team said in a statement, per ESPN. "Appreciate everyone that has reached out to check on him."

Despite the numerous jokes on twitter, nobody involved with the Patriots organization was behind the wheel during the accident.

The 22-year old running back rushed for 1,040 yards and nine touchdowns this season, becoming just the second rookie in Jaguars franchise history to reach the 1,000 yard milestone. He added 109 yards and three touchdowns in Jacksonville's 45-42 victory against the Steelers in Pittsburgh last weekend.

Fournette and the Jags will now face their toughest test of the season, as they head to Foxboro, Massachusetts for a matchup against Tom Brady and the defending champion New England Patriots in the AFC Championship Game. That game is scheduled to kick off this Sunday, January 21st at 3:05pm ET, airing on CBS.
