Phresher's upcoming album PH is set to drop later this year, but the New York rapper has already enjoyed a successful 2018. After all, not many rappers can boast a collaboration with Eminem without having a debut studio album on their resumes. Such is life for the "Chloraseptic" baritone, who recently shared the stage with Em during his Governor's Ball set on Sunday. Now, he's poised to set it off with new single "Keep It Up," which features the added talents of free agent Famous Dex.
Having officially parted ways with Rich The Kid's Rich Forever records, Dex holds it down over some trap production from Slikk Da Producer. The track features enough charisma from either party to merit a spin or two, although the overall product is far from groundbreaking. Still, it's refreshing to hear Phresher back on the mic, and there's no doubt that PH will serve to put his name on the map.
Quotable Lyrics
All of my n***as stay freezer’d up,
She came with you, I’ma leave with her
Bad as hell, so I beat it up
Table turnin’, now they be needing’ us
Name always in the media, life was so hard, now it’s easier
