Chris Brown apologizes to his fans using social media.

Though Chris Brown may be an R&B star that doesn't normally give a ton of interviews, on the radio or otherwise, he also isn't someone who shies away from those public commitments. When he comes through for an interview, it's usually a pretty memorable moment. However, the folks over at The Breakfast Club on Power 105.1 didn't have the pleasure of welcoming Breezy to their show this morning. Why? He was a no-show, apparently.

Taking to Instagram after listeners realized that he had bailed on his previously scheduled interview with DJ Envy, Angela Yee and Charlamagne Tha God, Brown apologized to his fans for the disappointment that he had caused. According to the singer, his voice was particularly hoarse from a studio session that took place the day before and, with a pop-up show scheduled for later on today, he made the decision to rest his pipes in anticipation of performing live. In the notation that makes up the picture, he promised to call in personally to make amends in the near future. You can view his entire post below.

"I UNDERSTAND THAT THE NEGATIVE S**T THAT IS SAID BECAUSE YALL FEEL HURT," continued Brown in the caption to the photo. "All good... I’ll let y’all have that. 🙏🏽. HOPE THAT HELPS YALL STATUS! Love you 😇 [...] guess god don’t make mistakes! SHOW TONIGHT... y’all invited too. 😏" The apology came after Charlamagne Tha God took Breezy to task on the air for ditching his interview commitment with the show. There's no word on whether or not Brown will be rescheduling for another in-studio appearance soon.

What do you think? Smart decision by Brown to rest his voice? Or disrespectful to be a no-show like that? Sound off below.
