Westside Gunn drops a track with Evidence before his next album is released.

New York rapper Westside Gunn has been building up hype, and some controversy, for his upcoming album, Chris Benoit. The album drops on June 22nd, so to hold his fans over until then, he's dropped a song that wont appear on the project, "Evidence Joint."

The name is fittingly taken from the producer, Evidence, who created the shimmering piano production that Gunn is rhyming over here. Gunn pushes his New York origins for the foreground here, rapping in a cadence that has him sounding like Ghostface Killah on helium.

The track clocks in at less than two minutes, the last fifth of which is occupied by repeating the line "New G-Shock and the necklace," but there's still enough time to get some bars in there.

Quotable Lyrics

Crash the new Lexus
Fishscale German suplex
Fucking on bean bitches practicing my duet
