As if they needed the money, the Kardashians just got paid according to a report by TMZ. The Kardashians reportedly signed a new deal with E! Network for $150 million dollars. The deal is over the next 5 years and is worth $30 million a year, or in TV talk “cycles.”
The contract is a bump from their 2015 contract, in which they got $20 mil a cycle for 5 cycles totaling $100 million, but the question remains how does that money get split up among the sisters?
A source says that 50 - 60% of that 5-year deal will be split between the three oldest sisters, Kim, Khloe & Kourtney, despite the fact Kylie Jenner has gained immense popularity and success since their last contract ended. A source said…. "It's called 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians'" -- and that show focuses mainly on Kourtney, Khloe and Kim, who reportedly still gets more than everyone else. It's unclear how much more Kim gets, but she apparently does get a bigger piece of the pie.
Kylie Jenner apparently gets a little more than her sister Kendall because she has her own show on E!, but that’s not a knock on Kendall by any means, who’s busy traveling and having a legit modeling career, losing out on screen time at the end of the day too.
The master planner behind all this is their mother Kris Jenner, who apparently gets her 10% managing fee, equaling a cool $15 million in the process. Talking about keeping the money in the family. The rich just keep on getting richer.
The new deal with E! takes the Kardashians into 2019, but don’t be surprised if they keep re-signing. Hell, now with the babies growing up, we could the Kardashians on E! for many years to come.
