Gucci Mane is once again a free man. The rapper was released from jail in Georgia this afternoon. The "So Icey" rapper, who often runs into trouble with the law, was arrested one day after being released in April, for a probation violation.
The probation violation stemmed from an incident in March, when the rapper hit a fan over the head with a bottle of champagne, leaving a gash on the person's head. In connection with that incident, Gucci Mane was charged with aggravated assault.
The case is still pending, and Gucci's due in court later this month.
[Update: Rapper Reportedly Under House Arrest]
AllHipHop reports that Gucci is actually under house arrest, and not free as previously reported. The rapper will also undergo random drug and alcohol testing during this period. No further information is known of GuWop's status.
