Tonight is set to be a huge night for new music with Cardi B, Flatbush Zombies, Famous Dex, 1017 Eskimo Boys and more all dropping full-length projects. While Cardi B is arguably the most globally anticipated of the bunch, our Fire Emoji playlist on Spotify is sure to be stocked with some fresh heat for the weekend. Aminé enjoyed a big 2017, being named as a XXL Freshman, largely due to the success of "Caroline." While he has remained relatively quiet since the drop of last summer's Good for You, Aminé returns tonight with a brand new single and music video.
Trying to cash in on some of the music spotlight being shined tomorrow, the Portland artist is slated to drop something new tonight as per his latest Instagram post. Claiming that a self-directed music video will appear alongside the single, Aminé revealed that the track will surface at midnight. Simply captioning his post with, "new music + video tonight," the rapper did not offer much information aside from the time we should be expecting it. He has previously proven to be a nonconformist in terms of the status quo, acting as somewhat of an alternative choice for hip-hop fans, creating endless possibilities for where he could be headed style-wise.
One of the more eclectic members of XXL's 2017 Freshman class, fans are looking forward to seeing what Aminé has been working on. The track is set to drop at midnight tonight. Will you be keeping an eye out?
