Jaden Smith's been teasing his upcoming SYRE project for the whole year. While he's been dropping loose singles along the way, he's proved that his upcoming album is actually something worth anticipating. Today, he finally unveils a November 17th release date for the project and shared several elaborate videos on his Instagram and Twitter to give everyone better insight on what to expect.
Jaden Smith's hit Twitter to share a video a trailer from his upcoming project. The tweet reads, "I Cordially Invite You To Visit SYRE Land Via My Instagram. 3 Years In The Making Thank You #LongLiveSYRE." The minute long video on his Twitter features Jaden Smith, nearly on the verge of tears, as the camera zooms out and previews an intense new song before ending with a shot of Jaden on lying down on a roof top with the album's title SYRE A Beautiful Confusion pops up in front of him.
His Instagram page features a twelve post collage on his page with the albums title at the top. One of the posts has the words "The Sunset Killed Him" in the front. Among the twelve posts, seven of them are short video clips that preview new music. From the sounds of it, the project seems to have an eclectic collection of music on the project. On one of the videos, he includes the caption "The Syre Movie Trailer." So it's safe to say that his upcoming project is bound to be epic. It's the first project he's released since 2015. The loose singles he's released throughout this year have shown an exponential amount of maturity from the young artist
There's yet to be any confirmation on features or production credits for the project. However, over the years Jaden has befriended many of hip hop's A-listers and has collaborated with some of the highly revered artists including Tyler, The Creator, A$AP Rocky, Justin Bieber, Childish Gambino, Kid Cudi and others. Hopefully, some of them end of returning the favor and pop up on his upcoming project.
