New collaboration from Khalid & 6lack on the way?

Both Khalid and 6lack had a great run in 2017. 6lack's Free 6lack project dropped at the tail end of 2016 but it's popularity grew immensely within the past year. Khalid as well had a breakout year and is still reaping the benefits of his debut album American Teen. The two of them delivered incredible R&B projects but now, it looks like the two are working on some new music together.

6lack hit his Instagram story to share a glimpse of his studio session with Khalid. There wasn't a sneak peak of any music, unfortunately but it's safe to say the two of them are major fans of each other. Khalid's heard saying, "Damn n*gga. Why is it bro, that I can't stop singing your fuckin' songs?"

6lack captioned it, "support your friends. A mutual mood."

They've grown into two of the most promising young artists out right now. While we haven't received much music from 6lack since he dropped the deluxe edition of Free 6lack, he has said that he's working on his next album. When will it drop? Not sure but hopefully, the collaboration with these two surfaces on that.

Aside from their collaboration, Khalid's gearing up to hit the road on his The Roxy Tour. The tour kicks off on May 1st in Portland before concluding in Raleigh, NC on June 7th. Peep the dates here
