CNN has rounded up a few notable women to speak about being a female in today's society and share their opinion on what needs to be done to improve gender equality. Ashley Graham, Dee Rees, Diane Von Furstenberg, Caitlyn Jenner and more were all called upon, where the former Olympic Gold Medalist explains how her path to womanhood was a little different.
In the video below, the 68-year-old explains how she has "learned a lot" about women since transitioning from being seen as a man to being seen as a woman. "Women are brought up to kind of be a second-class citizen. Emotionally weaker. Physically weaker. I've always been inspired by strong women," she says.
It seems as though followers of Caitlyn didn't agree with her words, as one user commented: "Quiet Bruce, women are not second class. Secondly your genetics are male irregardless of whatever surgery’s you’ve had! Therefore don’t act like you know it all, ever had a period ? Or given birth? Or had milk come out of your boobs? Abdominal cramps? Trust me women are a hell of a lot stronger than men in so many ways in my opinion. You are still a man."
What do you guys think?
