The Alabama Crimson Tide are moving on to the Quarterfinals of the SEC Tournament, and more importantly they've kept their NCAA Tournament hopes alive, thanks to star freshman point guard Collin Sexton.
Sexton finished with a game-high 27 points including a coast-to-coast game-winning layup as time expired to give the Tide a 71-70 victory over Texas A&M. After A&M took a 70-69 lead by way of a three-pointer with 4.4 seconds left, Sexton was able to take the inbounds pass and go the length of the floor just in the nick of time.
Alabama finished the regular season with an 18-14 record, including 8-10 in the SEC, meaning they'll likely need at least one more win to earn a trip to the NCAA Tournament. Sexton and co. will take on in-state rival Auburn in the SEC Tournament Quarterfinals tomorrow afternoon at 1pm ET.
