Los Angeles Lakers point guard Isaiah Thomas reportedly has no love for his former teammate LeBron James. According to ESPN's Chris Broussard, Thomas felt like LeBron "kind of talked down to him" during his brief stint with the Cleveland Cavaliers.
The 29-year old point guard appeared in just 15 games for the Cavs before he was dealt to the Lakers as part of a massive roster overhaul at the NBA trade deadline last week.
During yesterday's taping of Undisputed, Broussard revealed some details about Thomas' relationship with LeBron and how things went south so quickly in Cleveland.
"I was talking to somebody yesterday close to Isaiah, and they said he has absolutely no love at all for LeBron, like this is real,” Broussard said Tuesday on Undisputed.
“He felt like LeBron kind of talked down to him when he was there and so on and so forth. And when Isaiah first got (to Cleveland) they actually were hanging out a little bit and it was cool, but it soured pretty quickly.”
Speaking with reporters earlier this week, Isaiah Thomas said he got his joy back since putting on the purple and gold."I mean, this is the first real practice I had all year," Thomas said, per Ryan Ward of Clutch Points. "Let's see how my hip responds tomorrow with the soreness and things like that, but I'm here. I'm here and I'm happy. Got my joy back and I'm ready to put on a show for the Lakers."
In case you were wondering, the Lakers will host the Cavs on March 11.
