Kanye West has made it a habit recently to tweet out his text message exchanges with the people he knows, including John Legend, and Charlamagne Tha God. However, his latest tweet may have a reason for fans to get excited again.
Today, Kanye posted a screenshot of a speakerphone conversation with none other than J. Cole. He captioned the picture with "we got love," which has been one of his catchphrases as of late. No clues as to what exactly they were talking about, but with Cole just having dropped his new #1 album, KOD, and Kanye's album, presumably titled Love Everyone, on the way, fans of both artists can surely hope that the two are planning a new collaboration of some kind.
It wouldn't be the first time that the two have teamed up. Cole has long been an admirer of Kanye's music, even going so far as to flip his "New Workout Plan" as a sample for his own track, "Work Out." The two of them also appeared on G.O.O.D. Music's "Looking For Trouble," and made appearances on Beyonce's track "Party."
It's imaginable that Cole would probably not be too thrilled with Kanye's recent behavior, so it's entirely likely that he was simply reaching out to Kanye on a friend-to-friend basis. However, Kanye is nothing if not full of surprises, so fans who are hoping to see a J. Cole feature on Love Everybody will have to keep holding their breath until the album officially drops on June 1st.
