Apple and Samsung are probably the two most ubiquitous and well-respected smartphone manufacturers in the world, having amassed a wide consumership in the process. The two companies are always trying to stay ahead of the curve, and offer as many technical advancements as possible, all while making sure each successive model incites a sense of urgency within the general public.
A new study conducted by nonprofit agency Consumer Reports reveals that these two specific companies are the only ones manufacturing quality smartphone cameras.
Consumer Reports believes that there needs to be more transparency in the marketplace, which has led the organization to create a quasi-definitive ranking of the most omnipotent gadget, the smartphone. They have focused their attention specifically on the most widely-used aspect of any mobile device, the camera, testing over 50 products in the process from brands such as LG, Google, One Plus, Huawei and HTC. However, it was the Apple and Samsung products that ruled the ranking.
