Philadelphia 76ers star Joel Embiid was out at Lincoln Financial Field over the weekend to take in some tailgate action prior to the Eagles 15-10 win over the Falcons. Naturally, the Philly faithful were getting rowdy before kickoff, including one fan who pushed the Sixers' 7'0 big man while tossing the pigskin around.
And if anyone thought Embiid wouldn't react because he's an NBA star, they were sorely mistaken.
Embiid didn't take kindly to being pushed during the tailgate festivities and responded by shoving the fan to the ground in front of a crowd of onlookers. Two other people quickly led Embiid from the group of fans after the incident before things escalated further. Embiid and the Sixers have not yet commented on the situation.
The Eagles, having beat the Falcons on Saturday night, will now host the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, January 21st in the NFC Championship Game at 6:40pm ET.
