Donald Trump's Press Secretary, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, has one of the toughest jobs in America right now: defending the countless public faux-pas that the President has perpetrated during his time in office, either in person or using social media. Many have railed against her before for showing Trump unflagging support, but hey, she's just doing her job. However, an innocent-seeming tweet using her official account has landed her in hot water for an ethics violation.
The tweet revolves around a major problems many U.S. citizens have encountered: having Alexa actually do what you ask. It seems that Ms. Sanders' kid accidentally ordered a Batman figure by just repeating the superhero's name over and over again.
“Alexa, we have a problem if my 2 year old can order a Batman toy by yelling 'Batman!' over and over again into the Echo," she wrote, including a screen shot of the erroneous purchase as well. However, savvy social media users were quick to point out the glaring misstep that she had taken in tweeting this offhanded remark.

Ms. Sanders does have a personal Twitter account that may have helped her avoid scrutiny in this case, but now she'll have to answer for her oversight for once, and not that of Donald Trump. Although, it does bear mentioning that Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos has locked horns with 45 in the past, even before he was elected into office, so was this an indirect shot that was really a calculated move? As the Internet rumor mill continues to spin, only time will tell if that proves to be true.
