It always bodes well when Dave East makes frequent appearances in the headlines. Not only is the New York lyricist dropping off his Paranoia 2 mixtape today (featuring appearances from Tory Lanez, Lloyd Banks, T.I. & more), but East also has another tape in the works with fellow New Yorker Don Q. This morning, both rappers confirmed the arrival of their collaborative effort with a pair of Instagram song previews. On Q's end, he captions his with "Let’s wake the city up @daveeast🔥🔥...who wanna hear this collab tape??"
Q proceeds to showcase a freestyle over Jay-Z's "Family Feud" instrumental, rapping "out the window I'm brainstormin' thinking while the rain' pourin', since the fame things ain't really been the same for him." East posts his own footage, spitting his verse from the untitled "Family Feud" freestyle, rapping "I ain't puttin' hands on no female, unless I'm up inside her I pay attention to detail, single black chick taking classes working retail, know he from the hood but don't know the product that he sell."
As of now, the Don Q & Dave East collaboration tape has no concrete release date, but it seems as if both rappers are keen on getting the hype train rolling.
