YFN Lucci just wrapped up his "Ray Ray From Summerhill" tour, but don’t expect the Atlanta emcee to put up the “Do Not Disturb” sign just yet. One day after dropping off the visual for his own “Who Run It” remix, Lucci and Harlem-bred Neek Bucks return with the new clip for “One Day.” While YFN Lucci holds it down on the hook, Neek comes proper with a few bars detailing his come up in NYC.
Earlier this year, the Neek Bucks detailed a near-death experience that made him decide to take his career seriously when he was nearly shot in the head.
“With that situation, it was kinda like the wrong place at the wrong time," he told XXL. "We got into a situation that didn’t really involve us. Shots got fired, a girl was killed and two other people got hit; and then I got hit in the head. I thought I was grazed so I didn’t even go to the hospital. I just went home and took care of it myself."
Three years after incident, Neek took a trip to the emergency room after suffering from sever migraines. As it turns out, metal shrapnel from the bullet actually pierced his head, and coming face-to-face with the reality that that day could have been his last, Neek bucks dropped his Here For A Reason EP the same year with the X-Ray that revealed the shrapnel doubling as his artwork.
