The Black Eyed Peas, after experimenting with weirdo techno music for years, seem to have returned to their roots as a real hip-hop group. Their latest single, "Ring The Alarm Pt. 1, Pt. 2, Pt. 3," shows that while their music might be going back to it's roots, their bizarre sense of aesthetics hasn't changed much.
In the video, Will.I.Am, Taboo, and Apl.De.Ap are all dressed as revolutionary commanders, fighting against a industrial goth imperial army, which aims to pacify the populace with mind control. Soldiers with faces completely covered execute choreographed marches, while a masked woman (who isn't Fergie), sings the hook for the song.
The Black Eyed Peas want us to wake up, but it'd be hard to sleep watching this video. Check it out and let us know what you think.
