In a recent interview with Complex, Lil Baby revealed Starlito be one of his "favorite rappers." An artist who's never gotten the attention he deserved, it's not entirely surprising to hear that the younger voices in rap are looking to 'Lito as inspiration. Baby has some impressive features across his new project Harder Than Ever, but Starlito is easily the least obvious and most interesting selection. On "Exotic," it's clear that the Nashville rapper's style is complimentary to Baby's studied southern rap. In fact, learning that Baby has been a fan of Lito's for some time, it becomes easier to draw a line between their vocal styles. The record is heavy and high-BPM for both rappers standards, and they come through with braggy bars and stylish flows, but always bringing a unique energy to their rhymes.
Baby's new project also features guest appearances from Drake, Young Thug, Lil Uzi Vert, and more. You can listen to the full project here.

He also discusses his features, which he says he selects very precisely. According to Baby, the person he'd like to work with the most is Atlanta legend Andre 3000.
Quotable Lyrics:
Ridin' around with cuz
He got the Ls for the straps
Three cell phones in my lap
I'm well know in the trap
Yeah, you know me, yeah
I used to sell your homies the stack
Tell my hoes to relax
These n***as police, that's facts
