It's becoming increasingly difficult to keep track of everybody commenting on Kanye West and his recent comments about his political stance. Releasing two songs over the weekend in "Lift Yourself" and "Ye Vs The People," the latter featured a line comparing gang truces to conversation between both extreme political sides. A well-known member of the Crips and outspoken representative of Tha Dogg Pound, Daz Dillinger took offense to the lyric, banning Ye from all of California aside from his home in Calabasas. Additionally, he led a charge for his fellow Crips to "fuck him up" if they caught him in the streets.
It seems as though Ye is taking the threats seriously as, according to Daz himself, the man behind My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy filed for a restraining order against him. Additionally, Ye is geared up in case any Crips run up on him as he was pictured surrounded by bodyguards while out in Los Angeles last night. Daz posted an additional video of himself where he revealed that Ye has a restraining order against him as his friend made homophobic slurs in the background. "Yeah, Kanye put a restraining order on me," said Daz, continuing, "Fuck Kanye. I appreciate it."
Daz is seemingly not playing around as he has been absorbed by this drama for the last two days. We'll keep you posted on any updates moving forward. Check out photos of Kanye and his many security guards via Daily Mail.
