LeBron voices a yeti in upcoming animated film, "Smallfoot."

LeBron James will be voicing a yeti in an upcoming animated film titled "Smallfoot." The 3x-NBA champion took to twitter moments ago to reveal one of the movie's posters which features Gwangi, the yeti character he'll be voicing.

According to IMDB, the movie description says, "A yeti is convinced that the elusive creatures known as 'humans' really do exist." The film will be directed by Karey Kirkpatrick (Over the Hedge, Imagine That) and is written by Kirkpatrick and Sergio Pablos (Rio).

The official "Smallfoot" synopsis reads,

"An animated adventure for all ages, with original music and an all-star cast, "Smallfoot" turns the Bigfoot legend upside down when a bright young Yeti finds something he thought didn't exist- a human.

News of this "smallfoot" brings him fame and a chance with the girl of his dreams. It also throws the simple Yeti community into an uproar over what else might be out there in the big world beyond their snowy village, in a rollicking story about friendship, courage and the joy of discovery."

In addition to LeBron, the "Smallfoot" cast includes Channing Tatum, James Corden, Zendaya, Gina Rodriguez, and Danny DeVito. The film is scheduled to hit theaters in September of 2018, so we'll have to wait some time before an official trailer is revealed.

That said, you can get an early look at what the characters in the film, including Gwangi, will look like in the tweets below.

LeBron and the Cavs are coming off a 116-88 win over the Pistons in Detroit last night, which marks Cleveland's sixth win in their last seven games. AKA- the Cavs are 6-1 since LeBron posted the infamous Arthur meme.

The Cavs, now 10-7, will return to action tomorrow night in Cleveland as they host the Brooklyn Nets.
