Every year, Rolling Loud manages to bring the heat to Miami. In a city that is already remarkably high in temperature, South Florida gets lit every time the festival comes around and although it has only been happening for the last few years, Rolling Loud has become the most significant hip-hop festival in the world. Bringing the hottest acts to Miami for their annual bash, the organizers opted for a much larger venue this time around, choosing the Miami Dolphins' Hard Rock Stadium as the grounds to hold such a massive affair. With J. Cole, Travis Scott and Future announced as headliners, any previous venue likely would not have been able to hold the insane crowds.
From J. Cole getting the crowd hyped during his headlining set to Lil Pump inciting several mosh pits due to the intensity of his music, Rolling Loud had something for every rap fan. The lyrical cats and the mumble heads could equally enjoy themselves due to the variety of sets and, if your feet ever got tired from the incessant walking between stages, you could always take a break on the Ferris wheel by the main stage. Putting on amazing sets, Trippie Redd and J.I.D. showed many why they should not be taken lightly. Cuban Doll impressed on her birthday while Lil Skies performed his biggest tracks on the main stage.
Despite the bad weather, this year's Rolling Loud has us pumped for next year's edition and since the organizers always seem to one-up themselves, we can't wait to see what 2019 has in store. Check out our top 5 sets from the festival here.
