The producer behind some of rap's biggest hits is releasing his own music.

While you might know Alex Da Kid from the time when he was briefly dating Halle Berry, but it's more likely that you know him from some of the hit songs that he's produced, including the cross-over mega hits, "Love The Way You Lie," from Eminem and Rihanna, and "Airplanes," by B.O.B.

However, he's producing music for himself now, and it's about as far away from those songs as you could possibly imagine. His new song, "Go" features H.E.R. and Rapsody, who perform gracefully over a smooth-as-silk bass line and a thumping drum beat. The song deals with escapism, and the loss of inhibition after having a few too many at the bar. H.E.R. steals the show here with her singing, but Rapsody is no slouch either with her verse near the end of the track.
