Jay-Z brought the stars out in Detroit.

With his 4:44-flavored rebirth in full swing, Jay-Z has seen himself become a stadium draw for hip-hop fans at a time when perhaps almost no one had expected it. His current tour, which is set to be the most profitable of his career, has already made a big impression on those who have been lucky enough to score tickets and, during a recent show in Detroit, the stars came out in full force to witness Hov do his thing.

According to The Detroit Free Press, Jay's celebrity guest list for his Motor City date includedDetroit native Big Sean, along with the Cleveland Cavaliers' LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, J.R. Smith and Tristan Thompson. Michigan's most famous rap name, Eminem, was not present, as he was in the Big Apple acting as the musical guest during this past weekend's episode of Saturday Night Live. Check out a video of Sean and 'Bron mingling at the event below.

If we had to guess what LeBron's favorite Jay-Z track is, the vote might go to "Empire State of Mind," his Alicia Keys-assisted single that blew up at the end of the 2000's. When Jigga went into that track during the Detroit show, James was vibing in a big way. Check out a snippet of that moment below.

Jay-Z will go down in history as the first hip-hop artist to play the newly-opened Little Caesars Arena, the area's massive stadium that has been in operation and open to the public since September. As for the Cavaliers, they were in the middle of a small break in their regular season schedule after defeating the L.A. Clippers at home last Friday. They take on the Pistons in Detroit tonight and took advantage of the time off by getting their live Jay fix.

In other Jay-Z news, he recently wrote an op-ed for The New York Times that focused on Meek Mill's recent jail sentence and used that as a launching pad for a large-scale discussion about the broken justice system in America. "Instead of a second chance, probation ends up being a land mine, with a random misstep bringing consequences greater than the crime," he wrote. "A person on probation can end up in jail over a technical violation like missing a curfew." You can check out more of his words on the issue here.
