R&B veteran Ne-Yo is getting ready to release his seventh studio album later this year called Good Man, and now we know who’s going to be on it.
In a new interview with Apple's Beats 1, the R&B crooner revealed his impressive lineup of guest appearances on the upcoming album, including PartNextDoor, 2 Chainz, Eric Bellinger, Bebe Rexha, Stefflon Don, and Romeo Santos.
“We came up with a lot of good stuff, actually,” he said. “There’s actually a collection of songs that I have, that I’m holding on to for a little side project later on, but there was one of that bunch that I liked so much, that I decided to put on this album. Myself, PARTYNEXTDOOR, and Eric Bellinger are on that record.”
Speaking on the concept of the album, Ne-Yo added: “This album focuses on the journey of what it is to be a good man: a good man to your spouse, a good brother to your brother, a good person to the world,” he explained. “I am not proclaiming to be perfect. A good man makes mistakes, learns from those mistakes, therefore to not then repeat those mistakes. Being a good man is a journey.”
The project, which is rumored to be dropping this June, is currently being led by the previously heard title track “Good Man,” which dropped last week. Take a listen to that right here if you missed it and stay tuned for further updates.
