Few things in life are better than having the Hair Weave Killer in your corner.
2 Chainz, undoubtedly one of the coolest figures to emerge from the ATL rap scene, showed his support for professional loudmouth proud basketball dad LaVar Ball yesterday (November 19th) in regards to his current social media spat with the most powerful man in the Western world, President Donald Trump.
Reposting an image of Donald Trump's first incendiary tweet directed towards the Big Baller one, 2 Chainz called America's leader a "real duck" and admitted that, when he saw the tweet, he couldn't believe his eyes. Then, the ultimate show of solidarity: "I'm gonna order me some BIG BALLER BRAND," proclaimed the Pretty Girls Like Trap Music rapper.
Trump drew more than his fair share of criticism for the tweet, which stated that, because of LaVar's perceived ungratefulness with regards to all of the hard work that he supposedly put in to getting his son LiAngelo and other members of the UCLA men's basketball team back on home soil, he should've left the youngsters at the mercy of the Chinese authorities.
Donnie continued on this tangent a little while later on Twitter, stating: "Shoplifting is a very big deal in China, as it should be (5-10 years in jail), but not to father LaVar. Should have gotten his son out during my next trip to China instead. China told them why they were released. Very ungrateful!" LaVar is supposed to address those words on CNN tonight at 10 pm ET.
Meanwhile, 2 Chainz might be making his own foray in politics soon as a candidate in the mayoral race in College Park, Georgia. He's from that area and is clearly still very passionate about his neighborhood. "The mayor that was currently serving when I was thinking about taking the crown from him had been there for 20 or 30 years, so they were eager for a change," he said of his motivations behind running for that position. "But they had a few prerequisites that I couldn't meet like staying in the same county and things like that because I didn't want to stay in the same county still. I was about growth. It's about growth and maturation. I feel like one day I could do something like that."
