Stream N.E.R.D.'s first album in 7 years "No One Ever Really Dies," featuring Kendrick Lamar, Rihanna, Andre 3000, and more.

It’s been over 7 years since N.E.R.D (Pharrell, Chad Hugo & Shay Haley) last released an album, but thankfully that drought comes to an end here today. After first debuting their comeback album, No_One Ever Really Dies, back at Complexicon back in November, N.E.R.D decide to come through today and officially share their 4th studio album on iTunes & other digital platforms.

Laced with 11 tracks in total, the follow up to 2010’s Nothing features guest appearances from Kendrick Lamar, Future, Andre 3000, Ed Sheeran, Gucci Mane, Wale, Rihanna, and more. Meanwhile production is handled pretty much entirely by Pharrell.

“With this project we felt like we had the freedom to do whatever we wanted. When we first discussed diving into this project, it started with mild discussions about the social and musical climate. Then it evolved into us creating a few songs, which weren't the greatest. They didn't inspire and invigorate us in the way we wanted, so we scrapped them and went back to the drawing board. We continued to take on this vigorous approach so we could tap into a timeless sound,” N.E.R.D. member Shay Haley said about the project.

“We want people to have a good time while listening, we want people to dance, to escape the insanity, the divisiveness, the narcissistic chaos. But we don't want to be to preachy. We essentially just want to have fun.”

Led by the previously heard singles “Lemon” & “1000,” fans can now stream the project in its entirety via Apple Music. Hit play and let us know what record you’re feeling the most? (Project available now on iTunes)
