Today was a major day for anybody who uses the Internet, so basically everyone. The F.C.C. has voted to repeal net neutrality with plans to move Internet away from being a free platform.
This move may leave people having to pay for access to websites like Google, Facebook, YouTube, Netflix, Soundcloud and lots more. It also puts a negative dent on any upcoming blogs or startups that will get low to zero traffic on their sites. Whether you're for net neutrality or not, the majority of the web have come to the conclusion that they will not stop fighting to have equal access to the Internet. Although the majority of votes (3-2) were to repeal net neutrality, things are still in the early stages and a majority of the population could still make an impact.
