"Jurassic World Alive" will bring dinosaurs into our world later this year.

When Jurassic World was announced, fans of the original movies rejoiced, flocking to theaters to relive their childhoods. With its sequel, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom in theaters this June, the franchise thought it'd spice up the release. Out "This Spring", game developer Ludia will be releasing Jurassic World Alive, an augmented reality game.

The game appears to look like Pokemon GO, using AR technology to bring computer-generated figures into our everyday world. In the new trailer, an unsuspecting man is walking through a park when he runs in to a Tyrannosaurus Rex. It's reported that when you encounter different species of dinosaurs, you have to collect DNA samples. The game is currently looking for pre-registrations, promising an in-game "incubator" as a reward; presumably to develop dinosaurs. The gameplay and map look identical to Pokemon GO, making it easy for gamers to grow accustomed to it.

Jurassic World Alive seems to be an interesting prospect; one that will incite excitement in fans. If it catches on, it can be a powerful marketing tool for the movie, allowing fans to take a piece of the action home with them afterwards. The game hasn't announced an official date, but you can catch Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom on June 22.
