Listen to Nick Grant's new release "Black Woman" featuring Stacy Barthe.

Just a couple days ago, Nick Grant revealed that his debut album Dreaming Out Loud would be dropping next Friday, May 18th. “Been dreaming of this since I started writing rhymes and hanging up hip hop greats on my bedroom wall,” he said, “I’m growing to learn that money is cool but having a voice that could help preserve the culture is better. I just want to compete and contribute. God willing, the words on this mixtape inspire the people that listen.”

But before the project arrives next Friday, Nick has another record to share with us ahead of time called “Black Woman” featuring Stacy Barthe. The record appropriately arrives just in time for Mother’s Day weekend as it puts the “black woman” & mothers on a rightful pedestal.

Take a listen to the powerful ode to the “black woman” and let us know what you think. (Record available on iTunes)

Quotable Lyrics:

I learn from you
I want you to teach me to love you
