50 Cent takes aim at hip-hop's richest.

In honor of their 20th anniversary, XXL Magazine's 2017 Fall Issue featured twenty variant covers including a wide selection of iconic hip-hop artists, including 50 Cent, Diddy, Nicki Minaj, Future, The Lox, E-40, Tech N9ne, Birdman, Fabolous, Wiz Khalifa, Cam'Ron, Migos, & more. It's certainly a dope collection, with each cover stylized in black and white, destined to lure in the most ardent collectors. And while the move is a nice testament to the culture, it wouldn't be hip-hop without a few verbal shots. And who better to send said shots than the original hip-hop troll, 50 Cent.

Yesterday, 50, who happens to be the rapper with the most XXL covers under his belt (fifteen), took to Instagram in order to clown none other than Forbes list reigning champion Diddy. Posting Diddy's smoldering cover as a reference, the Power rapper threw some shade in the way only Fifty can: "N*gga tried to make his eyes look all glossy. This n*gga a fruit biscuit. LOL tune in 50Central 10:30 PM ON BET." Bonus points for the shameless plug.

In a second post, 50 put those "Paint" skills to work, comparing and contrasting the Bad Boy mogul with an actual Doberman. "N*gga you ain't got no hazel eyes, unless that's like cataracts or some shit. LOL," writes 50, ever the merciless.  As of now, Diddy has yet to respond to any of Fif's shots, but one can only assume he'll be contemplating his calculated reply while sitting atop a vast mountain's worth of gold.

Last year, 50 Cent threw even more shade at Diddy, referring to him as "“a guy who stands next to the guy," citing Mase, Biggie, The Lox, and Lil Kim as examples. Diddy never quite stooped to that level of pettiness, opting to kill him with kindness instead. "“It’s good to see somebody of my color out there representing in this field,” Diddy replied, back in April of 2016. “And hopefully he appreciates me opening up the doors for him continuously.”
