Mercedes has taken on the daunting task of narrowing their award-winning and highly coveted arsenal of luxury cars into a list of their 5 best models. The German automaker, which has been around since 1926, dug through its vast archive of performance and lifestyle vehicles to compile this commemorative ranking.
The list was narrowed down to just five models that spanned around different decades, which included the 540K, 300 SLR, Mercedes-Maybach G 650 Landaulet, Mercedes-Benz 600, and the Mercedes-Maybach S 650 Cabriolet.
Each pick was given a brief reasoning as to why it was chosen, as the 540K was selected because of its illustrious notoriety, while Mercedes-Benz 600 was included in the list because of the automobile being "over-engineered" for its time, as well as it being the vehicle of choice for some members of the British monarchy.
