Since signing with Roc Nation last year, GASHI has seen a nice upward trajectory in his stock & career. The NYC rapper was spotted hanging out with Jay Z a couple months ago and has released a ton of new heat so far in 2018, including “Used To Be” “1134” & “Gloria” to name a few, and thankfully he doesn’t look to be slowing down either. A week after hitting us with “Roof In Trunk,” the rising Brooklyn artist decides to come through today and share his anticipated new single “Blame It On The Bag,” which he’s been teasing hard over the past few weeks on social media.
Off his upcoming Stairs 2 project, take a listen to the Felix Leon-produced record (and lyric video) and let us know what you think. Record available on iTunes.
Quotable Lyrics:
If you wonderin’ why I changed up
Tell ‘em the money is why I changed up
I’m gettin' high smokin’ with angels
You know I can hate that’s what a lame does
Bring it back stackin’ this money
But I still can’t forget the past
Stack it up and save it 'cause this rap shit never last
Never spittin no lies ‘cause you know this shit is faxx
