Consequence is known for his beef with a few rappers in the game, most notably, Kanye West. The former G.O.O.D. Music signee recently released his fourth installment of Movies On Demand, and in doing promo for the mixtape, Cons and his wife, Jen the Pen, visited Power 105's The Breakfast Club.
The couple, who are new parents, discuss their relationship with Kanye West and they both go in on the rapper. Jen calls him tacky for not sending the two a baby shower present. Cons' wife doesn't stop there though, she reveals that apparently Kanye West was hooking up with Kim Kardashian while she was dating Reggie Bush, and would regularly call Consequence for advice on the situation.
When asked how his relationship currently is with Kanye West, the rapper begins by saying the two don't really talk. The Breakfast Club's Charlmagne asked if 'Ye and Kim would be getting a baby shower gift from the couple. That's when Consequence's wife started to go in on Kanye. "Did he send us a gift? No, didn't. Did not send a gift. Is that not tacky? The man was friends with him for how many years? Their falling out, it was never that big where you couldn't say you know what you were my friend for 10 years, 12 years, let me send something, you're having your first child," Jen said in her rant against 'Ye.
Jen dominated the first part of the interview, soon revealing that Kanye was "sticking Kim when Kim was with Reggie." She revealed, "that was our secret when the rest of the world didn't know. Every night he called, 'what do I do, what do I do, I need to be with her.'"
Consequence also his issues with another G.O.O.D. Music member, Q-Tip. Although the two are supposedly cousins, Cons doesn't consider him family at the moment. He says that Q-Tip told Kanye about his baby before he got the chance too, thus apparently creating more issues between him and 'Ye. "Q-Tip, because he was tryna finagle his way in the door, Kanye was my connect, the whole world know that, but 'cause Q-Tip has issues with his mortality so to speak-- I mean look, he's on G.O.O.D. Music now, 'cause he was running around, telling me little secrets about Kanye, tryna angle. But how you gunna angle me, you supposed to be my family?" Cons asked, continuing, "You gunna angle to the point you gunna tell somebody about my kid that not even here yet? It wasn't his job to do."
Cons continues to say that he's a ghost-writer and has wrote for Kanye West, who gives him no props for that.
