"And I don't wanna see you live b-tch/ Just might stomp you out at dinner/ Queen Cobra with the venom/ Bad b-tches in rhythm/ Get the f-ck up off my drip b-tch," raps Iggy Azalea in a new snippet to a presumed Surviving the Summer track. The rapper has gotten a lot of flack over the years for her music and her appearance alike, garnering hate from a large number of people. While the spotlight had moved on from her for a while, Iggy is doing what she can to shift public opinion of her. That includes teasing her upcoming album.
Previewing a track likely titled "Drip," Iggy gets aggressive in her lyrics, spitting bars over an impressive beat. The songstress took to her Snapchat to share the preview, captioning the post with some of the lyrics. The content of the track may sound familiar as Cardi B dropped a song also named "Drip" just last night. Bardi may have believed that Iggy would be dropping the same night, thus pushing her own release to get her braggadocious flowing out first. Regardless, women in rap are heating up the landscape of the game, hopefully inspiring more young girls to pursue their passions of getting into music.
Iggy Azalea is currently working on her next album Surviving the Summer, which does not have an official release date yet. Listen to the brief preview below and let us know if you're feeling it.
