Two of our favorite collaborators, you should be happy to find out, are back in the studio together. Wale and J. Cole came up around the same time, and have continued to collaborate along the way, although it's been a minute since they last released something. In fact, they seemed to have some light back-and-forth a year ago, when Cole dropped "False Prophets" and Wale responded with "Groundhog Day." All appears well between the two, as they shared a glimpse of a studio session.
Wale shared a video clip of his session with Cole, captioning it, "working on new vibes," while panning a shot of the studio room, which is covered with posters and clearly features Cole sitting in a chair at the mixing board. He shared it on his Instagram Story before evidently thinking better and deleting it, but fear not, the proof remains below. Check it out.
Are you excited to hear what these two got cooking up? Stay tuned to hear what said "new vibes" sound like. In the meantime, Wale just dropped off a remix of SZA's increasingly popular "The Weekend" just yesterday, check that out here. He also made an appearance on N.E.R.D's recent album, with the Gucci Mane collaboration "Voila."
